Voodoo Drums

I woke up to voodoo drums today at 4am. Haiti is celebrating their rebellion against France today. The last battle of the Haitian Revolution, the Battle of Vertières, occurred on 18 November 1803, near Cap-Haïtien. I’m feeling a crazy heaviness this morning as I pray. My mind has been on Psalm 91 all morning.
Last night, we divided our team of 19 men up into 3 groups. Pastor Kevin Conklin, Pastor Jonathan Bareham and Pastor Billy Almaguer are each leading a team in case we need to minister to different areas during the next few days.
As you finish reading this, pray for the people we’re trying to reach today. Tonight we start a 3 night evangelistic crusade. It’s dark here at 5:30 and we’ll be going until about 8:30pm.
