Grubs… eating the yard

Yard work. Grubs have had a marvelous meal on the roots of our lawn this Summer. You don’t see them, but you notice the damage they’ve done only after they’ve been there for awhile. So, I’m about 2 weeks late on putting down an organic pesticide that will hopefully be the underground equivalent to a nuclear blast.

Day 4 of our Southbrook Church 100-Day Bible reading challenge is the story of Noah. God looked at the Earth and realized that man had made a pretty bad mess of it. Very much like our grub problem, only much worse. It was a total loss.

The parts of this story that I love to see is that Noah did everything just as God commanded him. What an example. Even when everyone else was going their own way, Noah stayed faithful.
